Important Stuff(?)

How to Make a DVD worth $20 (even $25)! - As decided by me, comment if you feel I'm wrong or have something to add.
  • Don't make people chose widescreen or fullscreen, put both on the DVD. I've seen it done.
  • Put a fun interactive menu in front of people when they pust play - Don't have them skip through the previews or have the movie just *start* put some effort into splicing to gether images and chosing a nice font for things.
  • Audio Comentaries: This gives re-watchability to a movie. Have one, have five, but make them fun/interesting, not *just* crew, and not *just* cast.
  • Trailers/previews - years after the fact it can be fun to see the trailer for a movie you own. Similarly, if you put trailers to movies that the owner of the DVD might actually want to see, they may watch them voluntarily.
  • Interviews & Featurettes - everyone loves them. Just keep them in manageble sections - like a half hour at the most.
  • A music video - Not applicable to *every* movie, but worth it on the ones that do include a smash hit song.
  • Computer only stuff - This should be more than wallpaper, websites or a demo for a computer game if you bother at all.
  • If you need a second disk, you better have a lot of cool stuff on there. 360 panorama shots of random sets are not cool.

Sorry about the spelling mistakes, if I think of more I'll edit it, or something.
