Me and my friends have been experimenting and active using Rhinosoft Software for sometime now. I can’t tell you how much more comfortable I am with using this compared to other public P2P programs. All you need are two important elements. One, a friend(s) with vast library of “files,” and the other being some knowledge of computers. One person has the
Serv-U Software, and the other having the
FTP Voyager Software.
These are the basic ideas behind public P2P Programs, but these are private. Only the IP addresses you allow will have access. You can also tell the software what folder(s) or directories you want to limit your friends to. It’s amazing, and fast.
My friend, Byrd, is a huge techno/trance fan. He claims Germany is so far ahead of us in that area of music, he only orders import CDs from there. He turned me onto the the smooth grooves, and honestly they are ideal to study by. Classical music has always put me to sleep, and silence is something I can not stand. Techno music helps fill in the empty space, without driving me to drool all over myself. He still recieves the latest sounds, and he shares them with me thanks to Rhinosoft Software. Gotta love technologly!
If this isn't your cupp-a-joe, may I suggest
SHOUTcast Radio, There is every type of music there, no matter how diverse you think you are. However, you will either need the
RealOne Media Player or
WINAMP, both are free of course. Enjoy!
