Oh Catholic School
Class went well today. The older kids were talkative but I was expecting that since they are use to running around the gym when the music teacher is out.
I was right. Being in the classroom is helping a lot to get me focused. At the very least, it's definitely getting my teaching brain juices flowing.
I think next week I'm going to do a "What Do You Remember" game with the older kids. If it ends up that the music teacher is going to be out longer I want to have an idea of what they already know. If not then it will just be a fun thing to keep them occupied.
The 2nd graders were amazing. But, then 2nd graders usually are.
In other news, I just got an email saying that the Library received my information and are reviewing it now. I know the hiring process takes a long time, but seriously??? It's been like a month since I sent them my stuff.
