i'm not a skeptic yet. seems like everyone becomes one sooner or later. well i am about some things, about a lot of things. just not everything. when do our hopes and admiration become something of the past instead of the future? when do we settle for the life we will fall into? everyone feels special, i have no illusions of that. but are any of us

not everyone who's changed the world (in one way or another) knew that they were meant for great things. i'm sure some events were accidental, or they were brought out by another person... but you always hear that there's an air to some people, that you can just see it in them, that they're meant for big things. so who knows.. do you feel like youre supposed to change the world, or that you have the power to? the determination and energy..? i really wish i did, but i know myself well enough to say that i'm not gonna make a huge difference. i don't have the competitive spirit, the ambition. i'm going for small time change, on a personal level, or an intimate level anyway. its just about knowing your strengths and your limitations, i guess.
