man good weekend. i got to go up to mammoth and man was it good. the drive up was sweet, it was kinda rainy and just past little lake there were these moutains where the clouds were so cold the turned an ice blue. it was insane. so then we got some dinner with an old buddy in bishop. then we went on up the last stretch it was dark and icy on the road. we got up there about 8:30 i think. and crashed at the Royal Pines Motel, not my first recomendation. so then we got up early and went up to the mountain to get skii's for my sis and then we hit the slopes. skiied all day and the conditions were awsome. man it was so fresh. then about 3:00 a storm blew in and on the top it was snowy and blizzard like. i got back to the room about 5 and then we had to head up to Tammarack for a moonlight snowshoe. it was weak cause of the clouds so we had to come back at 6 in the morning when it was still dark. if any of u dont noe tammarack is right by twin lakes, and in the morning at a lake it gets mega cold, it was about -3 when we were out there. it was tite though. the stars aand the moon were bright and it was just cool. after that we got some breakfast and then went back to the slopes. we took the village gondola up to canyon lodge, then took the canyon express and skiied down to stump alley express and then skiied down to the main lodge. skiied around till about 1:30 and then took the gondola from the lodge up to mcoy station. (formerly known as midchalet)Then i skiied the rest of the day, alot of it on the terrain park. i got some mad air but ate it sick a bunch of times. then on my second to last run i went off three jumps and ate all of them. then i went into some powder and got stuck. so i said ok one more try. went back and hit all of the jumps clean. then skiied down and took the bus back down. i went back to the room grabbed a shower and went over to Angels for sum grub. then came back and went to sleep early. got up this morning and went over to the stove for breakfast, western omelette, best breakfast in the sierra as far as im concerned. then we drove out to mono lake and the pokenobie fog was in. we went to the turn off to the south tufa and found that it wasnt plowed so we cross country skiied down towards the tufa and my dad got some fotos. the ski back up the road was hard but good, it felt like i had run a couple of miles. then we came back to the room packed up and headed out. got home around 6 and now im here. im tired though.
