Must learn to write more often
Hey Kids,
So I was working monday night and before work I met a cute guy online (or so I thought) and I invited him out for coffee aorund like 10:30. I told him I would call him half hour before my shift ended cause he lives half hour away, So he got to Tim Hortons on Anne and Dunlop (for those of you who don't know barrie it's the timmy's without a drive thu and it's really dirty). And this guy really didn't look like the guy from the pic. His name was Jason and he had nice arms which was about the only thing going for him. His hair looked like he had cut it himself and his voice sounded like the guy from Napoleon Dynamite...not the main character but the brother who hooks up with the black chick in the end.
Anyways he hardly even looked at me and It was so hard to initiate conversation with this guy. He made me do all the work. We got onto the topic of music somehow and I told him that I'm probably going to go see Mariah Carey in concert...and he was like "who's he?" I was so gobsmacked...I was like she is a she dammit! (I then though, clearly we can't have a relationship if you don't know who Mariah Carey is), and he then preceeded to tell me that he doesn't get into music that much...his friends make fun of him cause he didn't know who the dixe chicks were however he does like Reba Macyntyre.......come on....like...do you get out at all?
So I casually told him I had to get home which I did cause I have to bike home. As is I didn't get home till around 1230. So we were outside timmy's and he said I should tell you something before we go. (I thought he was going to tell me that he has AIDS the way he sounded). He told me that his name wasn't really Jason that it was Tom, but people don't like Tom as much as Jason so people still call him Jason.
This was pretty much one of the weirdest dates ever...I am slowly loosing hope....Adrienne please tell me it gets better in Halifax...
Anyways to each their own...
