Weekend Review
So oh yeah Im going to bed early tonight!
First a short recap of my weekend!
Spent Friday night and all days Saturday (about 12 hours on Sat) with my youth group kids. Now don't get my wrong, I love each and every one of them dearly, but when we are at a convention and they are among about 700 kids, things can get chaotic. I am proud of them. The vast majority behaved, and they all enjoyed themselves. The only down side was I had a kid go sneak off with a girl to make-out with her. I think he enjoys trouble a lot. Anways he got caught and was warned (as was the girl). So they split up for awhile. I was sitting with a couple of my kids and they both ended up being in the group as well. And what do they do? Start going at it, when I am JUST 3 SEATS AWAY! Yeah, like I wasn't going to see that. I mean, I don't condone dating and all that jazz, but at a religious conference where their are religious elders around, you just don't do that! *sigh* Other than that, things were gravy. I love those kids so much! They just can't grow up on me! *lol* Im excited though, as youth group softball is just around the corner, and I really enjoy coaching them. I played for about 14 years, so I better know what I'm doing!
Needless to say, the kids wore me out this weekend, and I didn't sleep much as I had to be there early and late for all the events and to wait for their parents to get them from our chuch's parking lot once we got back. What a long weekend! So now I am already tired and it's only Monday. Usually this feeling holds off till Weds. *bleh*
On the good side, I ended up getting an mp3 player for my bday from my parents. *hurrah* It has a radio and 2.5G of memory and all the stuff to run with. It wasn't what I was thinking of getting, but hey, it works, it has what I need, and I didn't have to buy it. My parents so kick butt! *heart*
