BMW Service Card
With the BMW Service Card, you have a wide range of important and convenient services at hand. Wherever you go in Canada or the United States. Whatever you do. That's why no BMW driver should be without one this winter. So make sure your card is still valid. If it's expired or if you don't have one, you can sign up for true peace-of-mind by calling 1-800-267-8BMW.
Emergency Services The BMW Service Card provides you with the following emergency services without cost.
Emergency Service Calls:
•Battery boost
•Fitting of the spare tire (not including the repair)
•Free delivery to a vehicle out of gas (cost of gas not included)
•Lock and key service
Mechanical Breakdown Towing:
In case of a mechanical breakdown, flatbed transportation of your vehicle will be arranged to the nearest BMW Retailer, or to the retailer of your choice within 80km of the breakdown.
Winching:
Should your BMW require removal from snow or a ditch and, once removed can proceed under its own power, winching service will be provided.
Calling for Assistance
24 hours a day, 365 days a year, BMW Service Card benefits are accessible through a single toll-free number valid throughout Canada and the continental U.S.A.: 1-800-267-8BMW (8269).
The toll-free number is answered by a BMW Roadside Assistance Representative who will promptly arrange for the appropriate service to be assigned to your needs. Please be prepared to provide the operator with your location and the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) imprinted on the front of your BMW Service Card
Trip Interruption Benefits
Should your BMW experience a mechanical breakdown making it unfit to proceed under its own power, we will reimburse you for the following emergency expenses, provided that your BMW was towed by benefit of BMW Roadside Assistance and/or the BMW Service Card.
If you are less than 80km from your home, we will reimburse you up to $100 for commercial transportation to take you to your destination. If you are more than 80km from your home, we will reimburse you up to a total of $800 for any of the combined following expenses:
Emergency Transportation:
Commercial transportation to take you and your passengers to your destination.
Vehicle Rental:
Vehicle rental provided through a BMW Retailer or a recognized rental agency while your BMW is being repaired. This includes basic daily rental rate, mileage charges, collision damage waiver and tax.
Accommodation:
Overnight accommodations and meals at an inn or a hotel, if you stay at the repair site while your BMW is being repaired.
Return to Repair Site:
Commercial transportation back to your repaired BMW.
Traffic Accident Services and Benefits Should your BMW be disabled in a traffic accident, BMW will reimburse you up to $500 for any of the combined following expenses when not covered by your personal vehicle insurance, provided that your BMW was towed by benefit of BMW Roadside Assistance and/or the BMW Service Card.
Towing:
Towing your vehicle from the location of the accident to the nearest BMW Retailer or approved service establishment. Reimbursement will be based on rates applicable for that area.
Vehicle Rental:
Vehicle rental provided through a BMW Retailer or a recognized rental agency while your BMW is being repaired after a traffic accident, or has been stolen or destroyed by fire. This includes basic daily rental rates, mileage, collision damage waiver and tax.
Emergency Transportation:
Commercial transportation from the accident site to your destination for yourself and your passengers.
Accommodation:
Overnight accommodations and meals at an inn or hotel, if you stay at the repair site while your BMW is being repaired following an accident.

To assist you in very special situations, the BMW Service Card also provides the following services:
Emergency Message Service:
Should an emergency arise, the BMW Service Card Program will get a message to family, friends or business associates, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Emergency Cash:
Should your cash and/or credit cards be lost or stolen, the BMW Service Card Program will wire you up to $500 as soon as possible. Funds can usually be wired within 24 hours. Note: The interest-free amount must be repaid within 30 days.
Travel Planning Services:
BMW's personalized travel planning services will provide you with current maps and details of the roads and areas on your itinerary. Simply call the BMW Service Card toll-free number to request information. Please make all travel planning requests at least three weeks prior to your departure to ensure that you receive your personalized package in time.
Your package will include:
•A computerized guide detailing the route
•Full colour road, city and vacation area maps
•Mileage calculation
•Destination package (outlining major attractions and historic sites)
•Accommodation information both along your route and at your destination
•Points of interest
•Travel tips
•A trip log
•Complete list of BMW Retailers en route
Multi-driver Protection
The above benefits apply for you, your spouse, all family members and any other person authorized to operate your BMW at no extra cost.
