(no subject)
Hey all
I think I leave such large gaps between posts because there really isn't that much going on over here. I'll try to think of a few things that I hope are able to hold your attention. This should be difficult...
Even though my dad is on vacation, he had to go to a meeting on Monday. Something about the budget for 2010. 0_o He was there all day. Needless to say, that sucked ass. Sabrina (stepmom), Sara (stepsis), Shorty, Lindsey (Shorty's g/f), and I all went down to Orchard Road to kill some time. The two younger females got pedicures while Shorty and Sabrina waited for them. In the meantime I went to Orchard Road and, being as bored with looking at all the things I can't buy as I would be watching grass, I went to this LAN/internet gaming place.
I know, I know. "Alex, you're in a foreign country. Go experience the culture!" Been there, done that. And it's not even the primary reason for my visit.
Anywho, so that was yesterday afternoon. Afterwards we headed home to change, waited for my dad, then went to this Italian pizza place for dinner. Really, really good pizza. I was happy. =D
Today is gonna suck ass. Sara is leaving for Hong Kong and will spend an indefinite amount of time there. She has to figure out what she is going to do with her future, because when she left Canada to come here for the summer, she actually dropped out of school. Just one semester before completing her degree. She still hasn't really told my why.
So, Hong Kong it is. She has friends there, she will be living with family there, and there are plenty of opportunities to either pick up a job/career or to complete her schooling. It's only a 3-hour flight away, right? *uneasy laugh*
Other than that, things are going great. And by great, I mean awesome. I get to spend time with my dad AND bro, and Lindsey is easily one of the coolest people I know. And to top it all off, Sabrina kicks ass. Very well-rounded, I guess you could say.
So my birthday's coming up. While shopping last week, my dad mysteriously disappeared. Wonder what he was doing... =P
