That's why I asked. Because by blood, I'm Canadian, French, German, Cajun, and I think Scotish. But that's all blood and really doesn't amount to shit in my opinion. I'm born and raised American and proud of it.
Not all mutts are Americans. Some are just legal immigrants (a rarity in this day and age) who came over at the country's youth, and have continued a long line of the same nationality.
Besides, being a mutt doesn't make me American. while amagalams of other culutres tend to make up the current modern American culture, they do not make up the modern American people. If I wanted to be, I could be entitled to every single one of those heritages and parade them around. I simply choose not to.

I thought his parents were born in Germany and Alex was born in Colorado. So legally, he's American, by blood, a German.
