Just when you are enjoying your weekend, Monday rears its ugly head and smacks you across the face. Today, I have Biology Lab, which is unpredictable. It may be easy and a good experience, or long, boring, and incredibly difficult to understand.
Ugh.
At this point, I am not really concerned about my Chemistry 2 class. I have a near 100 in the class, and one more test to go before the final. The kicker is that the professor may let those whose grades are satisfactory to themselves (ahem ... 100 ... ahem) to be exempt from the final exam. Heck yes.
Biology lecture now. Last exam was incredibly difficult, but I managed to pull off an 83. So far, so good. We have one more test between now and the final. The final exam will be comprised of all of the questions from the previous tests, which she handed back to us. There will be a couple of questions from the material that will we cover between the last exam and the final. This will be okay. Coupled with my high lab average, I may be able to pull off an A in the class.
Art. This class is a joke. I have an easy A. End of story.
Government. This is of more concern to me. I got an 83 on my first test, and I'm not sure what I got on my test over 2 and a half weeks ago. She still hasn't graded it or is just too busy to get the tests down from her office to the classroom. Then again, there are about 200 of us.
I am looking forward to two things:
(1) First, Thanksgiving break. Unlike TM, TAMUCC gives the whole week of Thanksgiving off to its students. One whole week. Its like Intersession. So, after this week and next week, expect me to be a lot happier.
(2) Second, Christmas break. Heck yes. I can't wait to sit around the house with all the Christmas decorations. It just has that cozy and homy feel to it.
I know the spring semester will eventually creep around, but I don't care. I've already made my new schedule, and I'm ready to register. My classes are more spread out with me still having time to myself, specfically on Friday. I'm taking Public Speaking, Local/State Government, Discreet Math (supposed to be related to logic), and Calculus II + Lab. I think this will be easier on me. I just need a 3.0 to keep my scholarships. That's all I need, and that's all I want. Keeping a 4.0 average in college? Forget about it, at least in my opinion. It may be possible, but you will have to devote your life to college. I don't want to be a slave to my classes.
Good luck and god bless everyone for this coming week.
