Looking at Mai, "Your grandfather's map. Well, I've got the tournament schedule here and... it says this is supposed to be the place... unless it's a misprint."
Though the official map is more professional, they pretty much match to say the same location within a few millimeters on the map.
But then Travis interjects himself. "I'm not certain. That depends on what you need help with. If the official documents are wrong, there's certainly an issue." Or someone had a hand in altering Kyosuke and Mai's maps to get there.
Well... [He points to several large trees cut cleanly through several yards away.] I was training and was just resting now, and I happened to just hear you say, "Well this dosen't look right?" So I assumed you were lost, and was trying to hit on help you. Anyway you guys are near my party's camp and we are heading to the capital of the Avalon Empire. What was its name again? Well anyway since its's not far from here we can lead you there and you can ask for directions. But since you mentioned a fighting tournament I would like to join it, sounds like it will be fun. That's how we help each other out.
Kyosuke once meet another girl like her, though, honestly, at least the other came off as more intelligent.
The way the girl was playing this stranger, (granted both are strangers) he was going to let her work her magic, and keep to himself... At least until talk of the tournament came up.
"It's a martial arts tournament sponsored by two big companies." Kyosuke adjusts his glasses. "Unfortunately, sir, registration for teams has already ended, but, I've heard rumor that some of the rules have been changed regarding outside interference."
Damn. [He is obviously showing his disapproval.] Well that's just great. [By the way he is being really sarcastic saying that. He crouches down and puts his hands on his head for a second in frustration. Then he stands back up.] Although outside interference wouldn't be so bad. As long as I can fight strong opponents then I can get at least some form of fun out of it. Anyways, I did say I would help you two... so follow me.
He's got a thick skull, and no honor. No wonder Grandfather wanted me to stay on the mountain... Mai mused to herself, as she wrapped her arms around Travis's, pressing her ample assets against the back of his sleeve.
"Oh it's loads of fun, you should come watch me fight sometime. teehee." Mai followed in step, and somewhere between the small talk she shot the orange haired man a knowing look. We're on the same team here, you and me. If you're where here for the tournament, we are already brothers in honor.
"How long have you been camped here? I mean, this is where the the map said the matches would be held... you haven't seen or heard anything?" She questioned Travis, pursing her lips cutely. " I wonder if it was canceled and no one told us. Or maybe it just relocated. That's happened before. Either way, I got to meet you... wait, what did you say your name was again?"
[Honor is a relative term, but he does have it. He has one thought running through his head now, "God, this must be my lucky day." He's trying to act cool right now.]
Travis Touchdown. By judging the look of your map I'd say it's outdated. I mean the orange-haired guy did just mentioned that some of rules were changed, who's to say that they didn't change locations. By the way I forgot to ask you for your names, so what are your names anyway?
