[Renais's had more than a few things to mull over during the group's travels, and it's during a rest stop that she finally speaks up on the issue.  Especially back at that mansion... just who was really to blame there ( Read more... )

(Gamma looks at Renais before leaning against a tree and sighing. He has a thoughtful look on his face.)

An interesting question. I wouldn't know. I have never been part of a large group that wasn't focused on killing others. I suppose it depends on the situation though.

Are you an assassin like Touchdown?

I used to be. I was trained at a young age to kill. You could say I was a child protege in that sense. I'm not working as a killer anymore...but I likely have more blood on my hands than anyone else here.

It's certainly possible. Travis is apparently new at it, though you wouldn't know it by just watching him in battle.

(Gamma laughs a little bit at that.)

I have to agree with that. He was actually able to keep up with me when we fought. Hell, he was even able to survive one of my Karinzan Jutsu techniques. Now that takes talent. Though he still had to pull out all the stops to injure me it seems.

Considering how you described yourself I would've been disappointed in you if you weren't.

Though... "Karinzan Jutsu"? I've known a few Masters of the Dragon's Den dojo and heard of several techniques, but never that one.

Karinzan Jutsu, also known as the Slashing Flaming Circle, is a sword style which is only rivaled by Kusenhya-Kushiki, the Red-Stained Hundred Ways, as the ultimate killing style. In it's 2000 year existence only 15 people, myself included, have been able to master it and even then it takes an average of 32 years to master.
