Oh God. Work today was pretty terrible.
soprano_no_eiji started the shift off depressed and upset, which wasn't very fun. And then she started to cry which was just...weird. And hard to handle when you're working. And then it started to rain. I was working tickets and the umbrella does NOT cover where I sit. So instead I got all wet. And then it stopped, so I figured we weren't getting to go home. Stuff got crazy and we almost had a catastrophe when communication was low. It was stupid. Then they said we were closing at nine. Then it started to pour. Then there was lightning and they told us to go take our break, then just to clock out. Oh, and there were people on the ride when it had to close, so they had to get off. Two had given tickets, but I had ripped them. When I said this to someone, she said you should never rip tickets until the ride starts, but it was ok since no one ever told us that. ...Someone should have told us that.
So now I am soaked. But back, almost 3 hours early. Plus I got two paychecks. Which is fun.
Besides, I get to make Zaizen watch Long Island Challenge.
