CodeCon
I almost missed it this year (due to poor planning on my part) but this weekend was CodeCon, an amazing collection of hackers/coders that assembles in San Francisco each year. I got to hang out with John Gilmore, Brad Templeton, Bram Cohen, and a bunch of other briliant people. The talks were impressive and inspiring. I wish I could find more time to contribute to some of the cutting edge projects that are out there. I had to miss a day of climbing to go to the Con, but did manage to go to a Zeparella (an all female Led Zeppelin cover band) CD release concert, danced the night away at nerdsalon, and looked at a few more lofts in Soma.
