Sometimes you can just tell when a thing has run its course. So it is with the Firestorm. It was fun for a long time, for me anyway, and now the time has come to lay it to rest.
There's a great big world out there, and I'm going to go see some of it, rather than simply speculating wildly on it from the Livejournal update window.
Pursuant to that, you can still hear from me every now and then, if you care to subscribe to my popular series entitled "Emails From Places That I Go."
The following people are on the safe list, and will be receiving these emails whether they like it or not:
Shay
Mary (fellmama AT whitman DOT edu?)
Marta (jankowskinator AT hotmail DOT com?)
Supposedly writing email addresses that way prevents oily-haired social misfits from commandeering them and using them to market their cut-rate fertility drugs. If anyone else wants to get emails from such exotic locations as Massachusetts, and possibly even foreign countries, just comment and tell me your email, and you're in.
Otherwise, farewell, faithful readers. And always remember, the fire stings.
