Vacation and goodness

Mar 01, 2006 16:33

Ok so I haven't updated in far too long. Well this vacation was really nice, pretty stress free, no big problems. I spent plenty of time with Charlotte and went bowling with Cristina, Meghan, Derek, Greg, Dan McCarthy, etc. So that was pretty sweet. We came back after and played some crazy scrabble. In a freak turn of events Greg came out victorious. Charlotte and I have been improving our skills greatly at this game. She has more than I have, so now im setting out to play faster. Apparently I take an extremely long time. So we should really play with a timer because I honestly don't believe im really as slow as everyone makes it sound. I realize that on occasion, yes, i take a long time, but not like every one. Anyways, the point is I am going to try to improve that. No school tomorrow, which is nice. I'm singing tonight at the Tsongis arena in Lowell for CM. And if we win, we should be the home team which would mean I would be singing the anthem at The Garden. (aka fleet center aka td banknorth garden). Oh by the way...It's march. That's a little scary. I mean, It feels like we just started the school year. Time has been flying by and the scary thing is I have no doubt that it will continue to speed up. Chess (the musical) is coming up soon, April 5, and then the talent show, April 27, and now there's talk about another concert the first week of may. My current God of music right now is Ben Gibbard. If you don't know who that is, I'm not surprised, but you should. He would be the brain behind Death Cab for Cutie, and if you don't know who that is, I pity you. (Thank you Charlotte for getting me addicted to them as well as passively changing my sentence structure)Anyways, I must be off for now. Oh by the way, My band has yet again renamed itself. We did a cover of perhaps the most overplayed song of the decade. If you have the nerve to listen to it, let me know what you think. http://www.myspace.com/haventcrashedyet
