Stress Free Weekend (over)

Jan 22, 2006 23:07

This had to be one of the best weekends I've had since...the summer?

I finished midterms friday. Theology. Probably my worst grade. Afterwards, I went with John and Dan back to John's house where we had some crazy band practice. We ordered my new keyboard amp which should be here sometime this week.

Then came Saturday. Where to begin? Well I think the only humongous thing that happened was the UA semi, which was you know...alright. Yeah basically, It was amazing. Starting with getting lost on the way to Katie's house, then pictures, and then TGI Friday's. That was an experience. All the waitresses are like..."do you guys want forks?" And we're just passing food down the table like, in our hands. "Oh, you want a potato skin? Let me just put my hands all over it as I pass it to you!" That just about made me feel like I was with the right crowd. So then we actually go to the dance, where I met Charlotte's latin teacher who was very nice, I might add. So there we were. All awkward and hanging around by the back of the gym. That...that lasted until "play that funky music" and "baby got back". Then the awkwardness ceased. Insanity. Then, you know, there was Ryan's proposal. To me. With a Green Day bracelet. I accepted but then decided I couldn't do that to myself, and gave it back. He then proceeded to throw it into the crowd, never to be seen again. I think it was my best dance experience ever. All of the sudden we look at my watch and its freaking 10:40. It flew by. But it didn't end there. The trip to Joe's bar and grill was one to remember. Enough said. And well, then we got picked up and went home. I finally went to bed at somewhere around 2:30 AM.

The next morning. GOOD MORNING ITS FREAKING 9:30!!! Yes I did not like being woken up that early. But...we went to church blah blah. Then I got picked up by Charlotte's parents and went over and watched the most ad filled movie ever...The Island. Such a great concept destroyed by ads and excessive predictability during the action scenes.

Basically, this weekend made my month. And soon enough we'll arrive at February vacation. And I smell like Charlotte. That makes my night.
