4.0, baby!
not for my final GPA, like some awesome people i know, but for my final semester. i'm still pretty happy with it, especially since i don't think it's happened before. what excites me most is that it bumped up my final GPA enough that I actually did graduate cum laude. not that it really matters anyway.
so, yeah, i graduated. it was pretty cool. the ceremony went fairly quickly and the weather was great! i got a little choked up during the ceremony when i saw an elderly lady in the stands and was reminded of the fact that my grandmother will never be there for the big moments in my life. she would have wanted to be there. my dad, on the other hand, it quite alive and couldn't even be bothered to come to the gathering we had after graduation. a lot of his family did show up and i was really glad to see them all, because they've always been so nice to me. also glad that my amazing boyfriend spent the entire day with my family. in the end, it was an incredibly long day and i'm glad it's over for the next four years.
also, long-- this week. i'm working seven days, because i am dumb.
cutest thing i've seen this week: pomeranian puppy (2.2 lbs., most of it hair)
saddest: tie. elderly man, after having his elderly cat and only companion put to sleep, giving me his cat carrier to give to someone who couldn't afford to buy one. and an albino ball python who was attacked by the rat his owners gave him to eat and will probably die because it took them a month to bring him in after the attack.
