"Did you just say that's a dirty trick or a Durbin trick??"
"I think both apply...."
Whew! just tomorrow, friday and monday and I'm done! I've already registered for four classes, now I just need to get a fifth and I'll be set! I love this time of year. I hate this time of year. Everything's winding down, I can sleep until whatever time I want, I can go swimming. I was just getting used to everything, my teachers, my surroundings, my schedule and now it's all gonna be different again. AGAIN!
What's changed between the beginning of this semester and now, the end? Well, for one, German wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting it to be. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't great, but it was good and I shall ever so miss Das Kaengaruh! Landforms stayed the same (Aw! I saw Tessa for what will probably be the last time today!), U.S. History panned out the way it started, and World Civ. with Dr. Brown remained the best class (Phys. Anth. from 2nd sem. is a very close second).
Yesterday, in reviewing for the final exam, Herr Durbin wrote 'Kind' on the board and asked us, "Der, die oder das?" Now, Kind means child, I figure, 'Hey, I'll go for the universal masculine concept (like in Latin) and use der,' and said "der." Not only was it not der, it wasn't die, either. Child, apparently, has no gender. He said, "It's das."
"That's a dirty trick."
And YAY! for seeing Megan Grassel yesterday!!! I need to be selling back my books too!
