I wish we lived in a world where sellers disclosed everything, but I guess that doesn't always happen. Am compiling a list of possible questions to ask when negotiating purchase of second-hand dolls (for Blythe collectors).
- Has she ever been customized?
- Does she have any scratches/nicks on her face? ...even small ones that the camera can't pick up?
- Is her pull string in good condition?
- Does her eye mechanism work properly?
- Are there any marks/stains on her body?
- Are there scratches on her eye chips?
- Does she have all of her hair plugs?
- Does this doll come from a smoking home? (supposing this matters to you)
- Does this doll come from a pet-free environment? (supposing this matters to you)
- Is there anything else I should know about this doll?
