Sewing Machine
I got one I got one!!
I finally got myself a sewing machine! I love it! It's so cute!
On thursday, I was looking at the winnipeg free press and saw the ad for Zellers! And there it was! I sewing machine for only $79.99 and some of the money went to Cancer Research! I was like "WOW...what a deal." And the colours were perfect! Pink with lil flowers/ white. No other sewing machine can be any cuter then that! I saw that the ad didn't start until friday, so I told mom and she said we'll get it!
On friday evening we went to Zellers. It took us about 15mins to find the damn thing. I swear, the store was trying to hide it! But I was SUPER LUCKY! It was the last one! My mom was going to pay for it, but I felt bad. Im the one who really wanted the machine..so I brought it. Even thou our family really needed one. But my mommie felt bad and told me that she was going to give me $50 bux! :>
Today I went to Wal-Mart (since it was 7pm and nothing is open besides Wal-Mart on a saturday at that time) and I brought a few things I needed. Earlier today I got great feedback on Blythedoll Community on where I can find some patterns on the net. So I found a website and downloaded a cute pattern for a jumper. Ive decided that, that was what I wanted to make today! Well...Im a beginner and me and my mommie had a hard time figuring the machine out...so my jumper looked more like a dress...then a skirt! It looks a bit funny but Im happy with it. It was sewen a bit funny...some pieces dont look right..but I dont care! I need to learn everything on my machine 1st! Then I can start making cute clothes! I also need to get use to making small clothes and how to sew the pieces in the right spot. LoL. But...with time Ill learn!
My model was Hermione...she told me that the skirt was funny looking..but was glad that Im starting to make clothes!:>
