Synopsis of a story I will never write
Today I saw a photo on Twitter of a misspelled deli sandwich label: Roast Beef & Criminalized Onion Relish.
So I decided the following: Roast Beef redeems Criminalized Relish, but also Relish tempts Beef into a life of crime. They are like the A Team: above the law, but folks you want on your side. Beef is drawn to Relish but can't forget Relish's past, despite it's new life. There is a tense push-pull between them that brings out their best selves on the job, but creates escalating friction in their personal lives. Will they? Won't they? Will that pesky Lieutenant Brioche Bun finally nail them for their actions and break them up forever? Roast Beef will never survive prison, Relish knows this... Can he save Beef from a fate Relish dragged them into? Does this mean Relish will eventually make an unselfish choice - is Beef the only one who can elicit that from them?
