Some questions from an OLD
thefridayfive post:
1. What was a skill you were proud to learn as a kid?
I wasn't a particularly useful or skilled kid, but I could arch a single eyebrow like Jack Nicholson and it gave me a weird sort of POWER in middle school. What can I say? The 80s were strange, man...
2. What's something you used to be good at, but can't do any more?
Kickboxing. I'm too old and out of shape to do that anymore. And if you aren't into fighting people, what's the fucking point, right?
3. What's something you haven't done in a long time, but you could pick it right back up again with some practice?
Bike riding, I guess? You never forget how, after all.
4. What can you teach others to do?
Illustration in PowerPoint. Don't scoff - it's a REAL THING. And I do it all the time. I'm an artist who teaches non-artists to draw in what everyone thinks is a bullet point/charting program. My Fu is a mighty Fu.
5. What would you like to learn next?
It's a toss up between getting back into art history (for serious study) or learning French. I took French in school but only because it was mandated. I'd like to be bilingual now.
