Cosmo Orbit, 2002-2017
A.K.A. woofty-woo, pup-a-lump, devil-ear boneypaw, Lady Giggleswick, beetle bum, kidlet
She was our co-pilot, our superhero sidekick, and the third person in our marriage. She was our girl. She chose us the day we first met her and her littermates, and she was loyal and loving and gentle from that day to her last. MB and I have been together for 16 years, and we had Orbit for 15 of those 16 years. She was a part of us. We are inconsolable. We miss her snoring and the click of her nails on the floor. We miss her being underfoot. We miss her excited greetings whenever we come home. I miss her cuddles. MB misses wrestling with her. We both miss the way she climbed everything and how she played fetch to the point of physical peril. We even miss the way she stuffed herself under the radiator and ate our furniture and never met an area rug that she didn't pee on. She ate some of my best shoes. She loved coffee and peanut butter. She had more blankets and pillows than MB and I combined, and she loved being under stuff. She hated being bathed though secretly adored the attention. She loved cats even though they scared her. She made friends wherever she went and was always up for a walk. In short, she was a very good dog and I'm torn apart that we won't get anymore of her.
Momma loves you, baby dog...
