These two aren't really related, but they'll be short answers so I've combined them.
11. Genre: do you prefer certain genres of fic when you're writing? What kind do you tend to write most?
Well, let's put it this way: I rarely write gen fic. All of my stories tend to revolve around relationships, which sorta makes me a one-trick pony. There's other stuff in the stories as well, but the focus is usually a pair of characters working through something. Depending on the day, I can either view this as great, or hackneyed, but when it comes right down to it I'm writing the type of story I want to read (if you don't believe me, you just have to look at my Bookmarks on AO3). And hurt/comfort tends to figure prominantly in my stories as well. Try and act surprised.
12. Have you ever attempted an "adaptation" fic of a favorite book or movie but set in a different fandom?
