Like Batman in a dress, I am both adorable and ferocious
Thank god it rained like the End Times all weekend because I finally got some drawing done (and it all works and I'm pleased and I believe that there must be a nip in the air down in Hell). I still have a ton left to do (there's cherie_morte's closet thingy, some tentacle prompts, the 2 illustrations for my own stories that I promised myself I would do...), but it's a good start. And my bb author liked them and got all CAPSLOCK-y about it which is always good for the flagging ego ;)
In other news, the Toronto Peacock is still at large. I know that it's been keeping you all up at night with worry. Fear not, he's even had time to create his own Twitter account. City services isn't very interested in catching him - their exact quote on last night's news was "no one's afraid of a peacock" - they assume that he'll wander back to the zoo when he feels like it, but if his sense of direction is as bad as most of us, I fail to see how he'll manage that without a phone app. *EDIT:* Mr. Peacock has returned to the zoo! But in keeping with his track record of ass hattery, he has returned to the BISON ENCLOSURE and the zoo staff have given up trying to convince him he's in the wrong place.
I had a lot more to write, but this is the second day in a row that I've started this post and then got sidetracked by 10 hours-worth of work *grrrrr*. I'll do the rest tomorrow, I guess. Gotta pay the bills, right? (but I want my summer FREEEEEE TIIIIME! *whines pathetically*)
