A few years ago I went to a guy who coloured my hair twice a year and he had this great half sleeve, white ink tattoo of his fingerprint on his forearm. I was always taken by it but thought that it would only work on someone with a darker skin tone (he was Polynesian). Since then I've been planning my next tatt and am leaning towards the graphical representation of the radio pulses from the
CP 1919 pulsar:
It has meaning for me, okay? Move along...
I was planning on having this done as a wrap around my right forearm.
THEN, I randomly found an article that highlighted beautiful examples of white ink tattoos and saw THIS:
Yes, a white ink tatt on someone with my skin tone, and it works! Now, I'm thinking that I should get CP 1919 rendered on my arm in white ink instead. It'll be subtler, it might age better, and it won't freak out my clients so much.
Hmmm, thinky stuff is thinky...
