Monday, Monday...
Things are ridiculously slow at the moment. It's hard to get motivated when everyone around you is simultaneously channeling greyness.
Mum came for a March Break visit last week which was nice and filled with delicious take-out because Mum thinks that we don't eat at all. Sullen Brother was appropriately sullen, thanks for asking.
Taxes were completed and submitted, and GASP! it turns out that I'm owed money. I'm sure that its a hallucination or something but my accountant got very excited nonetheless.
I FINALLY made it over to minouette's place and met Sparky Bams (a.k.a. her son) who is a complex little man already but OMG!THECUTESTDIMPLESINTHEUNIVERSE! And we both wore stripes so clearly he also possesses excellent sartorial instincts. I was commandeered as a couch by Minouette (the feline, not the blogger), but managed to end the day by adding yet another Minouette print to my personal collection. Yes, it was a goooood Saturday.
And, in a rather unexpected turn, I wrote nearly 7000 words on two different WIPs. I still have no idea when either will be completed but certain parts are coming together now, after so long, which leads me to a shaky confidence that they will be completed at some point. Progress indeed.
However, I utterly failed to art this weekend. *art!fail!sigh*

Anyone who has ever had to troubleshoot their parents/grandparents/dottering relatives computer issues will get this video so hard that the cathartic laughter might clear a chakra or two.
