Holyfuckingdoodle, Adobe... W.T.F? It has taken me 2 weeks to figure out why my custom filters from CS3 Photoshop weren't showing up in CS6 even though I installed them, and tweaked my permission settings on my desktop, and re-downloaded the original ASL files... ARRRRGGGHHHH!
It turns out that you have to run the damned program as an administrator on your network and then append EACH INDIVIDUAL ASL FILE INTO YOUR STYLES PALETTE. Seriously?!? This is why people hate PCs - all I had to do with my Mac at home was drag and drop the files into my Photoshop Presets on my hard drive and the program sorted it out on it's own.
There isn't a hard enough *headdesk* for this bullshit, I'm telling you.
