I firmly believe Snoop rulez. He is so tall stoned lanky weird laid back and funny, how can anyone not find Snoop at least amusing. He is in fact the only misogynist gangsta rapper I actually enjoy. I mean, I also have NWA and Dre on the old ipod representing the West Coast, and I can laugh at how stupid their lyrics are (and some of the old school beats are hilarious), but I often skip them because I find them a bit much. This BTW is nothing new w/ me. Snoop on the other hand is highly amusing and listenable, especially while cruising LA in a loke'd-out HHR 'esse!
IMHO that's easily the most important hip-hop joint of 2010. Trust Snoop to bust out a topical slow jam that's also impossibly stupid and funny. His dissing and out-pimping is awesome, his outfit is silly, and his "these eggs come with a lot of cheese and gravy" really harkens back to the more cocky (pun intended) and offensive Snoop of old. And how PHAT is that custom low rider Cadillac w/ the hundred-spoke rims? Schweet! Boo-ya!
BTW Snoop puts in a 'fine' performance as a ghostly pimp (no I'm not kidding) in the low budget and Vancouver-shot "Bones". It's really quite 'something' as I remember, he's really funny in that one. I also have it on good authority that he really enjoyed Vancouver in large part because of the quality local foliage, haha.
