My mate Bri used to like to show this film in a double bill with the soft core porn version which is even funnier. *g*

Seriously - perhaps I'm too sensitive - but I thought that this flick was VERY SUGGESTIVE considering the PG rating. Clearly, back in the 80s, the country's youngins were emotionally hardier... MB saw this when he was a kid by himself.

I betcha the soft core version is awesome.

From memory I want to say it was called Flesh Gordon but when I looked in up on youtube I could only find a PG trailer for it and something else under the same title that *isn't* the film I saw.

Flesh Gordon is actually from 1974:

The link is banned in 'my country', as the error message so cheerfully tells me...
*shrugs*

How weird... IMDB doesn't usually do that.

Here's the PG trailer version from youtube:

It will still give you a flavour of it. *g*

Wow. Should men shriek like that?! I love the warning at the end: Should not be confused with the original Flash Gordon - really? Ya think?!?

Ah the 70s, when they thought soft-core porn should still have a sense of humour...

The soft core version is indeed awesome. I presume you are referring to Flesh Gordon, the pornoriffic parody?
