Shoulda stayed at home
OMG, I'm freezing!
There's something WRONG with our heat/AC thermostat - it just keeps blowing no matter WHAT temp. we set the auto-shut off for. We control the 'stat for the entire 2nd floor, so if I disable it entirely (as I've done in the past), people come knocking on our door claiming that it's too warm in their offices ( I refrain from commenting on their wool sweater and non-breathing pants ensemble at these moments). It's 20C outside today: WE DON'T NEED THE A/C ON. I think that I'm developing a sniffle...
So, after weeks of frantic working, I have absolutely nothing to do again. I desperately wanted to sleep in today (and write some more of "R.B.") but dragged my ass into the office so that I could... surf Facebook, lurk on some fanfic sites, Google Image whatever my little heart desires... oh, I needs a purpose or I needs freedom.
This simply won't do.
Another Norwich Terrier breeder has responded to my various inquiries (don't ya just LOVE the Intarwebs sometimes?). She'll have puppies in Sept. and all BUT the males are spoken for already. She also has a two-year old male looking for a home, and I'm considering that if the Oshawa thing doesn't pan out. This breeder's in MI, so it's a more involved process that a 40 min. jaunt outside of the GTA.
The RAIN yesterday was unbelievable! I considered the possible need to build an Ark or something. And, there's more rain on the way, according to Environment Canada. Though, after talking with my folks yesterday (who live 2 hours east of T.O.), we're the only lucky rain recipients - they haven't had anything in over a week.
*subliminal message: Thylacines are considering becoming Land-Lovin' pirates if the rain keeps up like this*
