Well, after hours of work last and tonight, struggling trying to figure out how to make everything work, and obsessing over getting what I wanted to say down the way I wanted to say it, I've done it. I have completed my personal writing page.
www.andreablythe.com I still want to add more things, such as sample work and excerpts and work in progress stuff. The point is that this will serve as a foundation for myself. I can use it as this carrot to dangle in front of myself: "Complete something! Publish it! Then you'll get to update you website!" (Because I get excited about these kinds of things.)
I can't tell you how good it feels to have finished this. It's amazing how good the world looks after completing a large project. Everything glows.
I am feeling inspired, though. I'm currently working on two poetry chapbook projects, which I plan to submit to competitions. I also want to start doing a detailed outline for one of my novel ideas, since I've found that I only complete larger writing projects.
In the meantime, and since I didn't post them on Monday, here are my goals for the rest of the week:
-- begin creating zombie project spreadsheets
-- post new youtube video
-- get a animation art pages done
-- do a sketch or two
-- continue writing the Cassandra short story
-- prepare and send out a poetry submission
-- do morning exercises (1.5/7 days completed)
-- get 2 or 3 walks in
-- no erroneous channel flipping or video games during the work week
