Summer's End
The days are still warm, but getting cooler. There's definitely a bite to the air in the morning, a sure sign that fall is on its way. But the main sign that summer's over: school starts tomorrow, which means that I will be getting calls to substitute teach. Last year I got a call to teach on the first day of school, so we'll see if that happens again.
I'm still going to work at Aunt Lute Books, but we'll be playing it by ear. If I don't get a subbing job then I'll go into Aunt Lute. I'm pretty happy about that, because while I need the money from subbing, I also really wanted to keep on with Aunt Lute. Good people, and good fun working with awesome texts by awesome authors.
The year seems to be going by so fast. I just can't believe that fall is here again.
