This month's theme is "Time" over at
Self Portrait Tuesday. The challenge is to daily document something in your life. It could be yourself holding different tea cups, a self portrait everyday when you get out of bed, or something else that you can document the changes that happen through time.
I've decided to document the sky from off my porch. We've been having some incredible sunsets off that porch, and my plan was to catch each one at around six o'clock. I've been having a couple of problems, though. One is that the cloudy rainy days have not been producing the level of bright colorful skies that we were having before. The second thing is that I have had trouble remembering to take the photos at around six o'clock like I am supposed to.
But I have nevertheless been taking one picture of me and the sky everyday since the first.
March 1: I had trouble figuring out how to get the sky to show up like I wanted it to, especially since the only camera I have to use is my cell phone. I finally figured out that the less ground I put in the picture the clearer the sky would turn out.
March 2: I sort of messed up with this one. It's supposed to have me in it, too, but it sure is one beautiful sky.
March 3: The sky was pretty enough, but I had to also add the valley here. The mist coming off the green hills is just so, so pretty.

March 5: Another sort of oops. I was supposed to take this picture at six, but I forgot, so I had to take the picture half an hour later when it was already dark.
March 6: I couldn't even go outside on this shot. You can't really tell--it just looks misty--but it was pouring down rain when I took this picture.
