In one trip I paid for my Grocery Game habit. Now - to keep it up.
Groceries original price: $123.91
Advertised savings: 34.11
Coupon savings: 6.60 $40.71 in total savings for this outing
Total grocery cost: $ 83.20 w/ tax
I'm working on stretching our budget. Its a little bit of work to do, but I am working on it. Funny thing is that I had a great deal of groceries I needed to buy that weren't on sale - which is why my total was higher than normal. I also purchased a couple of items that I'm stocking up on while they were on sale. While I didn't get my Ro-Tel canned tomatoes for free (I was missing one of the coupons), I did get them for .90 each and will use them in a recipe this week.
The good news is that one way or another we've managed to stretch our fabulous Blue Ribbon Meats beyond the 6 month point and will have at least one, if not two, months where we don't have the payment for the meats. Next time we'll have a discount because we referred someone too!
... oh... I'm alive.
