(no subject)
kay so things have gotten better for me, yay! now that i know exactly where i will be living i feel quite a bit better about this whole college thing. also, turns out UNT plays LSU the very first football game... ashley told me yesterday so she is so coming down for the game, and we're gonna kick their butt... =)
my dorm is the one right on the lake, so i have a kickass view and a walk in closet.... plus the really cool concrete ceilings. the ceilings were why i wanted to move in, they rock! going shopping here in the next few days for random college stuff. i leave for orientation on sunday, however it is monday and tuesday so i get some random time off (always a GREAT thing).
speaking of work, i will be eating at the other landrys in baton rouge sometime when i am there to talk to the manager about a transfer as a hostess for a while. once i get on my feet there i will become a server, then i can transfer around and during holidays i can be a server here at home. another work related: my paycheck was FAT! it was almost $600... first time i have ever had over 400 in my account, let alone from one paycheck! it made me happy. then the next day i got a letter from my uncle kent with belated graduation money.. he gave me $100... so i am definitely bankin these days, and i need to find a new bank...
i think i will try bank of america, but i have no idea which banks are in baton rouge and whatnot.. either way i cant have the one i have now, even though wamu rocks, because they dont have anything over in baton rouge. =( <-- sad face
finally met another person from here going to LSU. stephanie sherlock is goin over there and getting an apartment. ive always thought she was sweet, but aparently some people beg to differ. i was talkin to beth and jazz's sister was over with us and she graduated in my class when i mentioned that she gave a pretty mean lookin face about it.. i dunno we shall see. =)
thinkin about college these days.. getting excited. however i realized that bobby has to move in on the 12th cause he is a big bad RA.. i move in on the 18th.. so thats already one week i wont get to see him. plus his two weeks of training, then another week & a half after school starts till the frio trip we're doing... than the next weekend is my bday. so its guaranteed already that we wont see each other for the first month we're there... im gonna be miserable without that boy, i know i will...
i plan on visiting hallmark and buying one or two more dreamsicles before i leave.. so jessica beware!
i work tonite at 6, and our dummy manager decided that we close at 12 for the last night of the fireworks. tomorry i work 12-10, so megan will be tired. megan only got 4-5 hours sleep last nite, and probly will again tonite... woohoo for espresso!
