Here are the pictures from our walk to Windsor last weekend:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/25905129@N08/ This weekend, we took a much less enjoyable walk to Homebase. Once there, we bought a garden table and chairs, for the summer is upon us and a sale was afoot. The walk back with the incredibly awkward and heavy box was the least enjoyable walk. However, about three or four blocks from home a very nice Polish fellow offered us a lift. We hemmed and hawed for a second about the wisdom of getting into a stranger's car, but we were both knackered at that point. He was a complete gentleman and we thanked him profusely for being so kind. Now we have some nice furniture to enjoy sunny days with. ( :
Not much else to report. Kate has been hard at work on the DAF (filling and painting the sills). She has also been getting my laptop back up and running. I now have a shiny new upgraded OS and more memory. I'm also out about £75, but hey. I'm enjoying some of the new features and everything is running much quicker. I also now have photoshop! Yay! Still pretty rubbish at using it...
Two and a half more weeks of school. We've started working on end-of-the-year things, like phonics assessments and renewing display backings and borders. In with that though, i got to go to a half-day art class with year 4. It was fun and they were given some freedom in creativity that I think they rarely get.
