I'm trying to beat writer's block, so read the passage I whipped up and leave a suggestion for where "here" is. I'll pick the one I like best and hopefully keep on writing until another opening for suggestions comes up. Please keep it to a word, phrase, or photo. Thanks.

Hitting a wall can creep up on you. It was certainly a surprise to me when I turned around one day and found myself facing the ass-end of nothing. Some people call it a rut, some call it boredom, survival, even life. I called it unacceptable. So I got out.
That makes me sound awfully decisive. The truth was I was scared out of my wits. I’d often dreamed of dropping everything, of taking whatever road came to hand, but the logical side of my brain always won out. So I never did.
What changed? Well, last month, I finished my job selling crap to people who had enough crap already and went home to sit in with my own crap while watching fictional people more familiar to me than the living souls in the apartments surrounding mine. See? That’s a wall.
And I guess I just couldn’t stand not seeing past it anymore. So, I donated and sold almost everything. Then stored the irreplaceable. Sublet my apartment to the end of the lease and took off. It’s not exactly the way my teenage imagination would have had it, but the adult in me hadn’t completely lost control yet.
Now I’m here.
