So much to do.

Aug 19, 2007 18:21

Well, I'm seeing to do lists up in other LJs, so I think I may do one myself.  It gives me a chance to see the revised plan in print.  This is the next two weeks...

To do on D paper:

Today:  write 500 words and read one source
20th:  write 1500 words and read two sources
21st:  write 1500 words and read two sources
22nd:  write 1500 words and read two sources
23rd:  Edit chapters 3 and 4
24th: Write introduction (1000 words) and read one source
25th:  Write conclusion (1000 words), do clean up and edit on whole thing and send to prof for feedback
27th to 2nd: Edit, add sources if needed, respond to feedback, format, etc.
3rd:  Get bound
4th:  Submit

To do on anything else:

- Inform those who need to know about address changing
- Look up process for IGS or ancestry visa
- Research bicycles
- Pack
- See about getting deposit back
- Return library books
- Do loan-related tasks
- Send info to get financial supplement for work placement
- Transfer any e-mails from UEA address that I want to keep

Urgh, too many money-related tasks.  Oh well.
Today I worked my second-to-last day at my job here.  I'll miss my co-workers.  They're really nice, interesting people.

Walking home I got absolutely soaked.  It decided to pour and my thin work trousers gave in pretty quickly.  So I squelched the last two thirds with my legs wrapped in soaking cloth.  I don't really mind that when I'm headed home because I know comfy PJ bottoms are waiting.  It's when it happens on my way to work or school that it really sucks.

Oh, I got a broken bird today from work.  They were going to throw it out, but I want to try and chip the wings off it so I can make some winged wall art.  I don't know... maybe a flying key or something.  We'll see.  Meanwhile, he's sitting on my windowsill staring at me.  I might decide to put him under my bed where he'll be a bit less creepy.

As a final note:  Congratulations to Steph and Jacob!  (They're getting married today.)
