Fairly Calm Day
I faintly fear jinxing the evening, but today's gone pretty well. No major stress-outs and no situations where we completely descended into what feels like chaos. I even got a couple boys to do a puppet show... though I had no idea what they were saying in it. Granted, there was some beating up of the parrot character at one point, but it was contained to the puppets, so I just logged the observation away and let them get on with it.
In kindergarten, Dia showed the kids and I how to make paper "cameras" and we started planning out a story for the little ones to act out later. It's sort of a beauty and the beast tale with a lion who's really an enchanted prince/son of a fairy. We made up a character for all seven of the kids who attended today. Hopefully they'll enjoy making it into a small play. ( :
The one small annoyance today is that I booked my accomadations for my weekend trip to Cluj, but found the cheaper place booked up for Saturday. So Saturday I'll stay somewhere more expensive than I prefer and then Sunday I'll move to the hostel. Oh well.
So, yes, relatively good day.
