It's a stay in the house sort of day...
... because it's raining. Spitting and being a generally grumpus outside world. Makes me want to curl up with a good book (and a Kate) and ignore anything outside my front door.
Today I'd actually take working on essays as a decent second to that and that will have to happen this afternoon. However, I gotta go to work first. Don't wanna.

It's a 30 minutes walk (in the rain) because I don't have the cash for our overpriced and unreliable buses. I'm gonna be wet and my shift is only three hours, so it's sort of not worth it.
Anyway, enough whining. I need to go eat something brunchish.
As a side note, I did a preliminary outline for my dissertation proposal and sent the key ideas off to my supervisor to make sure I'm not wandering down some path that leads to a cliff of failure. I'm pretty happy with the subject and it ties in well with my work placement.
