c'est l'alloween partie deux
Heeys! So, I have a halloween dilemma. I am trying to decide on a costume, and the one I really want to do now may be somewhat problematic.
After extensive research on cracked.com, I have chosen to be a 'hipster' this year - big old ugly ('ironic') sunglasses, hoodie, crappy old records, tight pants, huge headphones, bad attitude and an air of superiority, and an ascot. And probably other random things I can find at home. The beauty of this costume: cheap. The problem: some of the people I will be seeing on Halloween this year are, arguably, real hipsters. Now, I'm pretty sure that I have heard these people refer to 'hipsters' in a joking fashion, not realizing that to an outsider they are definitely hipsters themselves...but still, I don't want to step on any toes here...it's just sposed to be a funny costume. If I make it outrageous enough Im sure no one will object, but actual hipsters are fairly outrageous as it is, so it is difficult.
Anyways, what do yous think?
OR --- do you have any other costume suggestions? I don't want to be something that is expensive. I also want to be somewhat creative.

-matilda
-bart simpson from this one scene in one of the halloween episodes (he is wearing a "thriller' record sleeve on his head and a cape, and conjuring zombies. no one will get it I guarantee but I think it would be funny just the same)
