Life is relatively good right now. When I woke up this morning, there was snow on the ground which is level 10 exciting for me. I was really really really stressed out yesterday, asking all of my friends if they were going to vote and hearing 9 out of 10 of them say no. I have really strong feelings about this whole democratic primary business especially because it is so close! I couldn't vote yesterday because I am still a Texan legally and I have to wait til next month.
In the school world, things are going really well. I'm getting good grades so far and I am trying to stay on top of all of the papers that are coming up and all of the books I have to read. I'm in the first class I haven't enjoyed at all this semester. The teacher touches on about 100 topics every day and never connects the ideas, so I still don't know what is going on even though we're several weeks into the semester.
Sitting here in Starbucks and facing the door is the greatest thing ever. The door looks like you should pull in order to get out of the store, but it's faking everybody out. About 40 out of 50 people pull on both doors, and about half of those people pull on each door twice before they finally push on the door. It makes my life better...
