We've moved to our new house and I love love love it. It is twice as small, but in better shape and the bathroom is green. That makes me happy. I used to hate green, but i guess i changed my mind. Someone changed the picture on my myspace to a hairy guy with a gold chain around his neck so I erased the account. I never really figured out myspace, anyways.
Summer is on its way and with it will come a slight break, i hope. I'm going for a promotion at work, so it might not exactly be a break if i end up with it, but we'll see. I'm also going to start teaching piano lessons on the weekends so we can begin to pay off some school debt.
I used to think that I missed Austin really bad when I was experiencing the stress of a change in environment. I still miss downtown and hearing Gary's friends play music in little bars and seeing my parents, but this town has its own strange appeal. Three more months and we'll have been here for a year. Its hard to believe when a short time ago life was heading a different direction. I know its crazy for a 23 and 30 year old to head to school far away from what was supposed to be home, but we are forging something new for ourselves.
