ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?!?!

"Hi, My name is _________. I am in your Thursday 11:00 Ecology 3500 Lab. I have a bit of a problem on my hands. Since I have been at UGA, I have never had a lab start on the first week of classes due to people missing labs during drop/add. Ignorantly, I failed to even check the lab manual last week and missed lab. It was not until today during class that I even realized that I had missed lab. I am doing my best to complete the assignments. I went to the Botanical Gardens today and walked along the Orange Trail by myself, but I did not have any of the necessary equipment or instruction to do a very thorough job. I understand that I need to complete the Journal and the Introduction, but I am having some difficulties. At this point in time, I don't know that there is anything you can do to help me, but I wanted to let you know in advance about my situation. If you have any advice, I would love to hear from you. Just because they're biology majors doesn't make them bright crayons...These students have been through almost three weeks of classes so far, during which I KNOW that the professor mentioned lab and their lab assignments multiple times. I also know they talk to each other, and I also know that 9:30 at night is not the time to inform your TA that you're an idiot who just realized that they missed lab a week ago as well as the information for two assignments due the next day.
