::koff:: Can't...Breathe!!

Goodness gracious, have I learned my lesson (for now)! To be honest my bedroom was an absolute mess. It had become my "I don't know what to do with it so I'll pile it in the corner" room...and I don't think I'd touched any of it since Bud got sick. i'm always finding things I don't know where I want to keep it long term (or I'm too lazy to put it where it belongs) so the pile had grown to massive proportions. I don't think in all honesty it could be called a pile any more, but was instead a mountain. If I'd left it for much longer it would have turned into the equivalent of Mount Everest and people would have been trying to climb to the summit. I started working on the pile on Friday, although rather tepidly. I kept stopping to do Ray-in-glasses caps. Then there was SGA to be watched and capped. Yesterday I got a bit more done. Basically I broke the one big mountain down into smaller sub-mountains according to type. This afternoon, however, I tackled the room with a fervor. I got the piles either put away or pitched (Goodwill is going to love me). I got all my closets and drawers cleaned and organized so various things from the piles could be put away. Then I took the rather terrifying step of cleaning under the bed. {{shudder}} I'm kind of surprised I didn't find Jimmy Hoffa buried under there. The sense of accomplishment is enormous but now, thanks to the incredible amount of dust and god knows what else I've breathed in, I can feel my allergies kicking in. Itchy watery eyes and sneezing accompanied by sinus pain and pressure. Still, in the long run I have a feeling my sinuses will thank me because I won't be breathing all that dust every night.

So...one room down and the rest of the house to go. For now, however,I'm going to watch a little Doctor Who and have myself a glass ofwine.
