Oh, Star Trek
So, someone linked to an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation on my flist (alleging that it carries antisemitic undertones, which I haven't seen yet).
(And no, I'm not cutting for spoilers because the show's been off the air for 15 years. Deal.)
Anyway, the main plot point is that someone decides that Data is one of a kind and belongs in his little collection of unique objects (like that guy in that Doctor Who episode). And the dude is very bossy with Data and wants him to wear a different outfit and be entertaining. And on the one hand, I'm thinking "don't fuck with Data" esp. because they faked his death and Data/Geordi is basically my ST:TNG OTP; but on the other hand, I'm thinking, "hot." I mean, the dude uses some kind of acid to dissolve Data's clothes when he refuses to take off his uniform.
