American Idol Poll!

It's been a LOOOONG time since I've posted a poll, and now that I'm trying to deal with life after AI7, I figured no better time than now!

I wouldn't say that the studio versions are better, really, but they're pretty widely available now for free(and I don't feel bad telling you about it because you can't actually buy them anymore) so you should check them out. Let me know if you're interested and I can get you the link. Anyway, I don't think the vocal quality is better, more polished of course, but they're just different. Like, the performance of ABMB was raw and passionate and the studio version is very sweet and tender. It's like it's two different songs.
But yeah, for the most part, I prefer Cook's voice live, but his recorded voice definitely does something to me. His solo album is a really good showing of his vocal ability in a studio without being overproduced.
And finally, I realize that only time will tell with regards to his success in the business, but based on the fact that no artist has ever had 17 tracks simultaneously on the Hot 100, I think his shine may not wear off as quickly as some others.
